What is inside the free card

Page one

Stop starting over

Why business development turns into feast or famine when client work gets busy, and why a steady weekly rhythm beats bursts of effort. Consistency compounds. Intensity fades.

Page two

Shrink the block. Never drop the block.

An example week from a small accounting firm, showing how to keep all five blocks running when the week gets tight.

Page three

The card itself

Five short blocks, Monday through Friday, with the time each one takes and room to write the people you are working this week. Print it and keep it on your desk.

Ready to run it every week?

One thing to do before you close this tab

Print page three and put Monday's thirty minutes on your calendar. Name the block "BD Brief" so it looks like a real appointment, because it is one. The card only works when the time is already claimed, and everything else follows from that one block.

Then declare your Weekly Execution Level before the week starts. Every Weekly Execution Level runs all five blocks. You shrink the block, you never drop the block. A Weekly Execution Level you choose after the week is over is not a plan, it is an explanation.

Consistency compounds.
Intensity fades.
